Yu Shuyong, chief physician and professor, currently serves as Vice President of Hainan Cancer Hospital, Vice President of Hainan Chengmei Hospital, President of Hainan Cancer Prevention and Treatment Association, military allowance expert, provincial excellent expert, expert with outstanding contribution in Haina Province, excellent scientific and technological worker of Hainan Province, and excellent scientific and technological worker of Guangzhou Military Region. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years and graduated from the First Military Medical University and has studied in Southern Medical University, Second Military Medical University, PLA General Hospital and Hunan Medical University successively. He Works in the 187th Hospital of PLA, and was reappointed as attending physician, chief physician, director of General Surgery, director of Medical Department, director of Oncology Department and deputy medical director during this term.

Professor Yu Shuyong is good at minimally invasive treatment of thyroid and gastrointestinal tumors, and has been leading the medical field in Hainan Province in minimally invasive treatment of tumor surgery. He has taken the lead in radiofrequency ablation and microwave treatment of thyroid nodule in Hainan Province, with over 2,000 ablation cases and a clinical cure rate of 98% with very low complication rate. Now he has performed laparoscopic radical surgery for gastric cancer, laparoscopic radical surgery for colon cancer, laparoscopic radical surgery for rectal cancer, combined thoraco-laparoscopic tumor resection, single-hole inflatable mediastinoscopy combined with laparoscopic radical surgery for esophageal cancer, single-hole laparoscopic radical surgery for gastrointestinal tumor and thyroid tumor ablation. In his clinical practice, Professor Yu Shuyong has always paid attention to the standardized treatment of various tumor diseases, and formulated reasonable and standardized tumor treatment plans according to the specific conditions of each tumor patient.

He is good at laparoscopic radical gastrectomy, laparoscopic radical resection of colon cancer, laparoscopic radical resection of rectal cancer, thoracic laparoscopic combined with tumor resection, single-port laparoscopic radical resection of gastrointestinal tumor and thyroid tumor ablation.
