Yu Shuyong, Deputy President, Chief Physician, Professor, President of Hainan Provincial Cancer Prevention and Treatment Association, Expert Enjoying Military Allowance, Provincial Outstanding Expert, Hainan Provincial Outstanding Contribution Expert, Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker of Hainan Province, and Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker of Guangzhou Military Region. He has been engaged in clinical work for more than 30 years. He graduated from the First Military Medical University and successively studied at Southern Medical University, Second Military Medical University, Chinese Peoples Liberation Army General Hospital, and Hunan Medical University. He worked at the 187th Hospital of the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army, where he served successively as an Attending Physician, Chief Physician, Director of General Surgery, Director of the Medical Department, Director of the Oncology Department, and Vice President of Medical Affairs.

Professor Yu Shuyong is skilled in minimally invasive treatment of thyroid and gastrointestinal tumors. He has always been at the leading level in the medical field of Hainan Province in minimally invasive treatment of tumor surgery. He took the lead in carrying out radiofrequency ablation and microwave treatment of thyroid nodules in Hainan Province. The number of ablation cases has exceeded 3,000, with a clinical cure rate as high as 98% and an extremely low complication rate. Currently, he has carried out Laparoscopic Radical Gastrectomy, Laparoscopic Radical Colectomy, Laparoscopic Radical Resection for Rectal Cancer, Thoracoscopic and Laparoscopic combined Tumor Resection, Single-port Pneumoperitoneum Mediastinoscopy combined with Laparoscopic Radical Esophagectomy, Single-port Laparoscopic Radical Resection for Gastrointestinal Tumors, Laparoscopic Radical Thyroidectomy for Thyroid Cancer, and Thyroid Tumor Ablation. In clinical practice, Professor Yu Shuyong has always emphasized the standardized treatment of various tumor diseases and formulates reasonable and standardized tumor treatment plans according to the specific conditions of each tumor patient.
