Zhao Xinkai, Vice President, Director of the Gastroenterology Department and Endoscopy Room, and Chief Physician. He graduated from Shanxi Medical University in 1994 and was assigned to work in the Gastroenterology Department of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University in the same year. From 1998 to 2001, he obtained a masters degree in Internal Medicine from Shanxi Medical University. From 2008 to 2010, he obtained a doctorate in Gastroenterology from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In 2010, he was transferred to the Gastroenterology Department of Hainan Provincial Peoples Hospital. Since July 2012, he has served as the director of the Endoscopy Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Hainan Provincial Peoples Hospital. In April 2021, he was appointed as the director of the Gastroenterology Department and Endoscopy Center of Hainan Cancer Hospital.

Having been engaged in the field of gastroenterology for 37 years, I have systematically mastered the basic theories and clinical techniques of gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy. I possess rich clinical experience and superb skills in digestive endoscopy operations, and am proficient in various complex and difficult endoscopic techniques, such as ERCP and related techniques, ESD and related techniques, endoscopic ultrasound, PEG, capsule endoscopy, and small bowel endoscopy, among other endoscopic diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.

He specializes in a wide range of complex and challenging endoscopic techniques, including ERCP and its related procedures, ESD and its related techniques, endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS), PEG procedures, capsule endoscopy, and enteroscopy, among others.
