Chief Physician. Dr. Wu has 31 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation medicine and 19 years in neuromuscular electromyography. She pioneered the use of electromyography-guided botulinum toxin injections to treat limb spasms caused by conditions such as hemifacial spasm, spasmodic torticollis, cerebral palsy, stroke, and brain injury, filling a gap in this treatment within the province. She has participated in numerous domestic and international training programs on new rehabilitation techniques, mastering advanced rehabilitation methods. She holds internationally recognized certifications, including European Pelvic Floor Level I, Biofeedback Level II, and Italian Fascial Manipulation Level I, and is skilled in joint mobilization and kinesiology taping techniques. Dr. Wu has led or participated in four provincial and departmental research projects, contributed to the Ministry of Healths standardized undergraduate textbook Rehabilitation Functional Assessment, and has published over ten academic papers.
She serves as a part-time professor in the rehabilitation specialty at Hainan Medical University and holds several professional positions, including Standing Member of the Rehabilitation Therapy Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Member of the Electrodiagnosis Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Member of the Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, Member of the Cancer Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Chairman of the Rehabilitation Therapy Professional Committee of Hainan Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, Standing Member of the Rehabilitation Physicians Branch of Hainan Medical Association, and Vice Chairman of the Functional Medicine Professional Committee of Hainan Health Management Association.
