Graduated from Harbin Medical University in 1987 and joined the radiotherapy department of the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Harbin Medical University in the same year. Obtained a masters degree in oncology in 1993, served in the X-knife radiotherapy center and oncology department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University in 1996, and began working as a ward director in 2001. Went to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States for training in intensity-modulated conformal radiotherapy in 1998, and in 2003, worked as a temporary registered physician at Prince Wales Hospital of the University of New South Wales in Australia, specializing in radiotherapy and medical oncology. Obtained a doctoral degree in oncology in 2008. Received the honorary title of "Longjiang Famous Doctor" in Heilongjiang Province in 2022.
