Enhance image quality

The GIF-HQ290 endoscope adopts Olympuss advanced optical technology. After improving, the image sensor and CV-290 image processing device provide clear images with high-quality. The excellent performance of HQ endoscope combined with EVIS LUCERA ELITE system will achieve ideal imaging effect.

Bifocal distance

With Olympus bifocal bipolar optical objective technology, doctors can switch from regular mode to close focus mode at the touch of a button, allowing them to examine capillaries and mucosal tissue in detail. The technology allows doctors to get high-quality images by choosing the desired depth of field, bringing visibility into routine exams. 

NBI (Narrow Band Imaging) 

With the research and development of enhanced vascular and mucosal structures, the visible distance of NBI is increased, which not only effectively reduces noise and improves work efficiency, but also improves the conversion speed of images from dark to light. These advantages can help doctors examine and identify lesions effectively. These advantages of NBI have laid a new model for the development of endoscopy.

AFI (Autofluorescence Imaging)

The faster imaging performance provides smooth, accurate images with high quality and low noise, which can be used to accurately observe mucosal conditions while improving the recognition ability. When connected to AFI endoscope, the switching among white light, NBI and AFI modes can be realized just by pressing a button.

Wide view angle

The 170º wide view angle has been available in all colonoscopes in EVIS LUCERA ELITE 290 series. Wide field angle endoscope can light the periphery of the image and other area 30º wider besides the image. It will help doctors detect mucosal lesions effectively,  and also reduce the discomfort caused by angle adjustment.
