(3) The 3M-EO system is safe to use, employing a Venturi pump for vacuum extraction to ensure that the chamber remains under negative pressure throughout the process, preventing any sterilization gas from leaking outside the chamber. The sterilizing agent is 100% pure ethylene oxide gas, with small-dose cartridges. These small-dose cartridges are placed inside the chamber, and upon locking the chamber door, they are automatically pierced to release the sterilizing agent and carry out the sterilization process without manual intervention. The ethylene oxide gas is discharged through the buildings roof using a high-altitude atmospheric vent system. Since ethylene oxide gas cannot penetrate metal, it passes through a fully metallic pipeline to the roof, where it is released outdoors. The gas will disperse into the atmosphere and degrade into water and carbon dioxide within 5-7 days, making it environmentally friendly.
