1. Device Technical Features and Performance
(1) The dosage intensity has reached 3-4 times that of previous radiation therapy systems.
(2) The treatment speed has reached the current limit for high-energy radiation therapy devices (IEC standard limit = 1 minute / 360 degrees).
(3) Physical precision: Uses ultra-high-resolution 2.5mm multi-leaf collimators, with an option for circular collimators, achieving a minimum aperture of 4mm.
(4) Dose precision: MAESTRO control system offers dose output control precision of 0.04MU or higher.
(5) Positional accuracy: Unique four-dimensional imaging guidance mode for target tracking, incorporating the innovative Calypso radiotherapy navigation system with radiation-free GPS beacon technology, resolving the technical barriers of extra radiation dose and inability for real-time tracking.
2. Clinical Application of the Device
It’s successful stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) for intracranial and spinal lesions, and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for extracranial lesions, with breakthrough progress in radical treatments for lung cancer, liver cancer, prostate cancer, and pancreatic cancer; Clinically applied to intracranial lesions, head and neck lesions, thoracic lesions, abdominal lesions, pelvic lesions, and complex lesions.
