“Jianbaotong” Health Insurance Direct Settlement Signing Ceremony for “Designated Hospitals”
"Jianbaotong" is a commercial insurance payment and settlement platform established by Taikang Insurance Group in partnership with selected medical institutions in the country. It aims to enhance hospital service efficiency and create the ultimate customer experience. Traditional commercial insurance claims require the customer to prepare all the medical documents after the completion of treatment and discharge from the hospital, and then go to the insurance company to file a claim. In order to make claims service faster and more convenient, Taikang Life took the lead in the insurance industry to launch the "Jianbaotong" direct-payment claims service in 2009, which bridges the "last kilometer" between the insurance claims system and the hospital settlement system and realizes the direct connection between the insurance claims and the hospital settlements under the premise of guaranteeing the security of the hospitals data and the customers information, so that the customer can realize the "one-stop" settlement service when he/she is discharged from the hospital.
