During the visit, the experts highly praised the hardware and software capabilities of Hainan Provincial Cancer Hospital and Hainan Chengmei Hospital and occasionally took out their phones to take photos.
"I am so excited, admired and moved," Professor Yang Guang, who is originally from Wenchang, Hainan, expressed emotionally, "Although I left my hometown at a young age and settled overseas, my heart has always been with my motherland and my love for my hometown remains." He expressed that this visit not only allowed Chinese doctors to witness Hainans excellent healthcare services that are in line with international standards but also deeply experienced the vibrant development of medical innovation in Hainan. As a native of Hainan, he sincerely feels proud of the medical development in his homeland, especially for the healthcare industry in China and Hainan.
Professor Song Xiaodong introduced the guests to the development of the hospital. He stated that Hainan is actively promoting the construction of the free trade port, and the development of the medical industry has also entered the "fast track". Not only are more and more medical professionals settling in Hainan, but also many foreign medical experts come to the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone in Hainan to carry out "first test, first use" for new drugs and medical devices, providing synchronized medical services with the international standards for patients in China and even the Asia-Pacific region.
Professor Shi Yaohui stated that in recent years, China, and even Hainan, have made significant progress in the development of the medical industry, and Hainan may become a bridge connecting China with the world in terms of healthcare. He hopes to enhance communication and cooperation through the World Association of Chinese Physicians, facilitating the exchange and learning of new medical technologies and achievements among Chinese physicians worldwide. Together, they aim to promote the improvement of medical techniques and facilitate the transformation of medical research findings, thereby building a bridge for medical exchanges. At the same time, he expressed the desire to learn from and promote advanced hospital management models and service experiences from around the world, in order to jointly promote the rapid improvement and development of medical service capabilities.
Professor Yang Guang expressed that the medical industry in Hainan has great development potential and a broad future.
