During the Spring Festival, all the wards of Hainan Cancer Hospital remained brightly lit, and the medical staff were busy in an organized manner. Doctors also pay close attention to the patients condition and make timely adjustments to the treatment plan to guarantee the patients health. The nurses took good care of each patient, sending warmth to them with unfailing care and professional nursing.

February 10, the first day of the year. Dingling ......, the Gastroenterology Department of Hainan Cancer Hospital urgently received a patient with intestinal obstruction.

The patient was 76 years old and had been experiencing obstruction for two days with severe vomiting and abdominal distension. No effective relief was obtained from the former hospitals, and he was urgently transferred to Hainan Cancer Hospital.

"Intestinal obstruction obstruction requires an indwelling bowel obstruction catheter to pinpoint the site of the obstruction in order to relieve the patients obstructive symptoms." After receiving the patient, Dr. Yuan Guihong, a physician from the endoscopy department of the hospital, immediately started the green channel and performed "indwelling transnasal intestinal obstruction catheterization" on the patient.

With the smooth retention of the intestinal obstruction catheter, a large amount of fluid was drained from the pressure suction bag, and the patient consciously reduced abdominal distension and relieved his symptoms.

During the surgery, nurses Zhang Yimeng and Jia Zhiguang from Endoscopy Department continuously comforted the patient and diverted his attention while cooperating with the surgery to ease the discomfort caused by the surgery.

"Thank you, otherwise we wouldnt know how to spend this Spring Festival." After the symptoms were relieved, the patients family couldnt stop thanking the doctors and nurses by holding their hands.

The patient is a 3-year-old child with a current high fever of 40°C that will not go down, and his parents are crying with anxiety. After self-reporting and learning about the childs specific situation, Yang Shijie, who is mainly engaged in Chinese acupuncture and massage therapy in the Rehabilitation Medicine Department, suggested that puncture and bloodletting therapies be applied to the child to help reduce the fever.

After obtaining the consent of the parents, Yang Shijie, with the assistance and cooperation of the parents of the child, successfully punctured the childs right and left Shaoshang points and Dazhui points and other points, and then squeezed out 5-6 drops of blood from each of them.

After the puncture and bloodletting, the child sweated, and within a few minutes, the childs temperature slowly came down. After seeing the childs body temperature slowly down, Yang Shijies mood slowly relaxed, and then urged the parents of the child to follow the precautions, and provided his contact information, so that the parents can contact him at any time for any subsequent emergencies .
