Breast, cervical and thyroid tumors, the three most common diseases of women, are one of the main "killers" that seriously endanger womens physical and mental health, bringing huge economic burdens to patients, patients families and society, and seriously affecting family and social harmony. The latest cancer data released by the World Health Organization reveals that the number of new cases of breast cancer has surpassed lung cancer to become the worlds leading cancer.

In order to care for and protect womens health, the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Democratic Revolution, Haikou Veterans Service Center "Military Wives’ Home", Hainan Cancer Hospital, Hainan Chengmei Hospital, Health Management Center of Hainan Cancer Hospital under Hainan First Chengmei Medical Group, and the Hainan Chengmei Foundation will jointly initiate and organize the "March 8th" Womens Day series of free science popularization, free diagnosis and early cancer screening activities with the theme of "Taking care of womens health-Achieving a better life".
Free physical examination items include breast diseases such as breast nodules and breast tumors, gynecological diseases such as uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and cervical cancer, and thyroid diseases such as thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer, free ultrasound checkups, and free consultations with experts. Also, free HPV screening is offered to high-risk groups aged 30-65.
The clinic will be held in the afternoon of March 8 and all day on March 9 and 10, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Besides, it will be located at Hainan Chengmei Hospital, No. 8, Changbinxiwujie, Xiuying District, Haikou City.
It is reported that during the "March 8th" Womens Day, Hainan Cancer Hospital and Chengmei Hospital Health Management Center will also launch a series of preferential physical examination packages. Hainan Cancer Hospital gynecology, breast experts will be on March 7 through the live platform, to carry out womens health science lectures; the gastroenterology will organize "gastrointestinal health public welfare lectures" on March 9 morning .
