The establishment of the center will further enhance the hospitals academic system and contribute to the hospitals goal of becoming a comprehensive hospital with distinctive specialties. It is hoped that the Respiratory Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center will fully leverage its academic strengths and professional technical capabilities, actively introduce advanced domestic and international diagnostic and treatment technologies and equipment, strengthen talent development, and steadily advance all tasks in line with the hospitals development goals, fulfilling the responsibilities assigned by the board and contributing to the hospitals long-term development.
Hainans unique climate and geographical environment play a positive role in the recovery of respiratory diseases, attracting a large number of elderly "snowbirds" to spend the winter here each year. However, the seasonal influx of people has also led to a relatively high incidence of respiratory diseases, creating an urgent demand for professional medical services in the region. The establishment of the Respiratory Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center has greatly alleviated patients difficulties in seeking medical care. From now on, patients with chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD and pneumonia no longer need to travel long distances to seek quality medical resources.
