Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a common but serious disease that threatens human health. According to statistics, there are approximately 850 million CKD patients worldwide. The mortality rate caused by it is increasing year by year, and it is expected to become the fifth leading cause of death by 2040.
In order to raise peoples awareness and attention to kidney diseases and further popularize the knowledge of kidney disease prevention and treatment, the Nephrology Department of Hainan Chengmei Hospital, in collaboration with the Urology Department of Hainan Cancer Hospital, will launch a free clinic event on the morning of March 13th.
