On
November 13th, a delegation of secretaries-general from chambers of commerce
stationed in Hainan from various provinces, municipalities, and autonomous
regions across the country visited Hainan Cancer Hospital and Hainan Chengmei
Hospital to discuss strengthening the collaboration between medical
institutions and various chambers of commerce organizations. They jointly
explored ways to provide better health care for enterprises and individuals in
Hainan, create a favorable business service environment for Hainan Free Trade
Port, and empower the development of chambers of commerce.
That afternoon, over 30 "housekeepers" of chambers of commerce, namely secretaries-general, from provinces and autonomous regions including Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangxi, Xinjiang, and Anhui, formed a group to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the disciplinary characteristics, talent advantages, advanced equipment, medical environment, and services of Hainan Cancer Hospital and Hainan Chengmei Hospital, aiming to provide comprehensive health care for chamber members, including high-quality health check-ups, health management, and medical services.
The delegation visited the advanced equipment in the nuclear medicine and radiotherapy centers of the hospital. When the two hospitals were opened, nearly 2,000 international cutting-edge diagnostic and treatment equipment were introduced at one time, 40% of which are unique in Hainan. The secretaries-general conducted a detailed inspection of the hospital's medical treatment, physical examination environment, and humanized services, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the hospital's talent development and technical strength.
The hospital's world-class medical equipment, humanized services, and a diagnosis and treatment environment filled with humanistic care left a profound impression on the secretaries-general. They frequently stopped to have in-depth discussions with the accompanying personnel about the medical technologies and service details they were interested in.
After the visit, both parties held a cordial and friendly discussion. Professor Yu Shuyong, the President of Hainan Cancer Hospital and Hainan Chengmei Hospital, warmly welcomed the arrival of the "housekeepers" from the chamber of commerce. In his speech, he humorously referred to the inspection team as the "Secretary-General's A-list team" and promised to provide high-quality medical services to safeguard the health of chamber members.

Enterprises are the pillars of social development, and health is the cornerstone of enterprise development. Professor Yu Shuyong introduced that the hospital's service philosophy is "prevent major diseases, control minor diseases, and treat pre-existing conditions", with the goal of "enabling people to live an additional 20 years". He said that the hospital's purpose is not only to treat diseases and save lives, but also to strive to become the most solid "health backup" for entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life who are striving in Hainan, so that everyone can focus on entrepreneurship and enjoy life, effectively solving the worries of enterprises and employees, and jointly contributing to the steady and long-term development of Hainan Free Trade Port.
Provide high-quality medical services
1. The hospital will integrate high-quality medical service resources to provide public welfare health lectures and science popularization and education for members of the chamber of commerce.
2. Open exclusive green medical channels and provide priority services for registration, examination, and treatment;
3. Establish personal health records for entrepreneurs in need, conduct health risk assessments, tailor health management plans, provide long-term follow-up for chronic diseases, medication guidance, and rehabilitation support, and achieve a shift in health management from "treating diseases" to "preventing diseases".
At the event, a total of 12 chambers of commerce from Hubei, Chongqing, Liaoning, Chaoshan, Xinjiang, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Anhui, Bazhong, Chuzhou, Maoming, and Mianyang signed the "Health Management Strategic Cooperation Agreement" with the hospital.
Based on the suggestions put forward by the secretaries-general during the symposium, the hospital will establish a dedicated service team and set up an efficient linkage mechanism. While ensuring medical quality and safety, and strictly protecting members' personal privacy and data security, the hospital will also provide solid health security services.
