President Yu Shuyong delivered a speech

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the main forum, Yu Shuyong, President of Hainan Cancer Hospital, stated that the hospital's ten-year development has always resonated with the construction of the Free Trade Port. Under the guidance of the "Healthy Hainan" strategy, the hospital has jointly established a clear "Hainan Cancer Map" with the Hainan Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center and the Hainan Anti-Cancer Association, densifying the prevention and treatment network across the province, creating a highland for the application of new drugs and medical devices, and implementing a whole-course management model, achieving a patient satisfaction rate of 95%. On behalf of the Hospital Council, Guo Qiyong, the Acting Director of Hainan Cancer Hospital, affirmed the role of the hospital's ten-year development in promoting the cause of tumor prevention and treatment in Hainan. He stated that over the past ten years, Hainan Cancer Hospital has progressed from its initial exploratory stage to establishing a full-chain service system encompassing "prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and nursing", achieving a breakthrough in the five-year survival rate of cancer, which jumped from 22.8% to 43.3%. Standing at a new starting point, the hospital will leverage the opportunities presented by the Free Trade Port to deepen professional development, strengthen system collaboration, explore medical innovations, adhere to a people-oriented approach, pool the wisdom of all parties, continuously enhance the level of tumor prevention and treatment, and contribute to the "Healthy Hainan" and "Healthy China" initiatives.

Professor Wu Yongzhong, Vice Chairman of the China Anti-Cancer Association and Secretary of the Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, highly praised the ten-year achievements of Hainan Cancer Hospital. He pointed out that the development trajectory of Hainan Cancer Hospital resonates with the national cancer prevention and control strategy, and its innovative practices have provided valuable experience for regional medical development. The China Anti-Cancer Association will continue to deepen cooperation with Hainan, assist in building a standardized and normalized cancer prevention and control system, and jointly promote cancer prevention and control in the South China Sea region.

CACA Oncology Department Launch Ceremony

At the opening ceremony, the "CACA Oncology Discipline Empowerment Joint Construction Unit Special Project" was launched with great significance. This special project is an important regional implementation measure of the "Medical and Preventive Integration · Cancer Prevention and Treatment Empowerment Project (2025-2027)" of the China Anti-Cancer Association. After its launch, it will comprehensively empower the discipline development of Hainan Cancer Hospital through the injection of national expert resources, the output of diagnostic and treatment technical standards, the cultivation of scientific research capabilities, and the construction of talent teams. Fan Daiming, the president of the China Anti-Cancer Association and a CAE Member, innovatively proposed a new direction for tumor treatment with the theme of "New Concepts for Cancer Prevention and Treatment", which integrates the three aspects of "preserving life, preserving function, and preserving beauty". He deeply explained the core value of integrative medicine in cancer prevention and treatment, providing a fresh perspective for the industry's development.

Professor Li Baosheng, the chairman of the Radiation Oncology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Vice President of the School of Clinical and Basic Medicine at Shandong First Medical University, focused on "Prospects of Radiation Oncology", systematically reviewed the development trajectory of radiation therapy technology, and predicted future breakthrough directions, providing guidance for the clinical application and scientific research innovation of precision radiotherapy;
