On December 27th, the 10th Anniversary Summary and Commendation Conference of Hainan Cancer Hospital and the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Hainan Medical University was grandly held at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center. As the only Grade III Class A oncology hospital and cancer prevention and treatment center in Hainan Province, the hospital's development over the past decade has been a history of pioneering efforts. As of today, the hospital has served over 2.54 million patients and admitted 250,000 inpatients, with its service network radiating across the country and even overseas. By introducing over a thousand internationally advanced equipment (40% of which are exclusive to Hainan), developing more than 60 technologies that fill gaps in the province, constructing a multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment (MDT) model, and taking the lead in applying cutting-edge methods such as yttrium 90 microspheres treatment, the hospital has solidly turned the strategic blueprint of "keeping major cancer diseases within the island" proposed by the provincial party committee and government into a practical answer that benefits millions of people's livelihood. According to the list released by the Hospital Management Research Institute of Fudan University, the hospital has been ranked first in the reputation ranking of oncology hospitals in South China for four consecutive years.

A Comprehensive Protection from "Treating Existing Diseases" to "Preventing Diseases Before They Occur"
The hospital has always adhered to its public welfare nature. Relying on the Hainan Provincial Cancer Prevention and Treatment Center, it has taken the lead in building a cancer prevention and treatment network covering the entire province, driving a historic leap in the five-year survival rate of cancer patients from 22.8% to 43.3%. Over the past decade, it has conducted more than a thousand free cancer screenings and health education sessions, with a total public welfare investment exceeding 70 million yuan.
