On September 23, Hainan Cancer Hospital/Affiliated
Cancer Hospital of Hainan Medical University and Hainan Chengmei Hospital
signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Pacific Property Insurance
Hainan Branch and China Pacific Life Insurance Hainan Branch, providing high-level
talents, patients, and medical staff in Hainan Province with more high-quality
and diversified integrated health insurance services.
At the event, the plaques for "China Pacific Property Insurance Hainan Branch High-level Talent Direct Payment Cooperation Hospital", "China Pacific Property Insurance Hainan Branch Auto Insurance Personal Injury Claim Settlement Designated Hospital", and "China Pacific Life Insurance Hainan Branch Claim Settlement Designated Hospital" were unveiled simultaneously.
Wang Hongting, Deputy Director of the Organization Department of the Haikou Municipal Committee and Director of the Municipal Talent Development Bureau, Yu Shuyong, President of Hainan Cancer Hospital/Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Hainan Medical University and Hainan Chengmei Hospital, Wang Kaisong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Pacific Property Insurance Hainan Branch, Hu Letian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Person in Charge of China Pacific Life Insurance Hainan Branch, as well as hospital leadership, medical staff representatives, relevant department heads from China Pacific Property Insurance and Life Insurance Hainan Branch, and customer representatives attended the event.
The strategic cooperation agreement will focus on four major areas: talent services, employee benefits, patient care, and industry-medical collaboration, to build a complete "medical + insurance" ecological closed loop.
1. In terms of talent services
Implement the 2026-2028 high-level talent service cooperation in Hainan Province, leverage the high-quality medical resources of the two institutions, implement direct payment and settlement for online physical examinations, explore customized health services for high-level talents, provide health services in enterprises, and create a benchmark case of talent health services in the Free Trade Port;
2. In terms of employee benefits
A package of exclusive insurance benefits, including medical professional protection, group car insurance, and a green channel for claims processing, has been launched for hospital employees and their families;
3. In terms of patient protection
Provide exclusive coverage for patients in the hospital with surgical accident insurance, personal accident insurance, and health insurance (Taixiangbao waiver health insurance) products, as well as diversified commercial insurance services, to minimize medical disputes;
4. In terms of collaboration between industry and medical institutions
Continuously optimize the one-stop service process for traffic accident casualty treatment and insurance claims, and create a replicable and scalable medical-insurance collaborative practice model.

Shuyong, President of Hainan Cancer Hospital/Affiliated Cancer Hospital of
Hainan Medical University, emphasized that all departments of the hospital
should work together to establish a commercial insurance service window,
implement direct commercial insurance payment and settlement, and ensure that
all services are implemented in a practical manner, without any showy gestures
or superficial actions. The cooperation should be visible and tangible, so that
the achievements of medical insurance collaboration can truly benefit the
majority of patients and medical staff.

Kaishong, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of China Pacific
Property Insurance Hainan Branch, stated that this signing is a continuation of
previous cooperation achievements and a new starting point for deepening
medical insurance collaboration. The property insurance sector will uphold the
service philosophy of "peace of mind, reassurance, and tranquility",
solidify the four major cooperation areas, establish a replicable benchmark for
medical insurance collaboration in Hainan, and contribute CPIC's strength to
the high-quality development of Hainan Free Trade Port.
Hu Letian, the Party Secretary of the Hainan Branch of CPIC Life Insurance, introduced that the core of this deepened strategic cooperation is to break the traditional insurance model of "post-event compensation", break down the barriers between insurance coverage and high-quality medical services, and focus on implementing cooperation with designated medical institutions for life insurance claims and launching two benchmark services, namely the "Respect for Doctors Plan", to comprehensively upgrade the "medical insurance service" ecosystem in Hainan Free Trade Port.
The deputy general manager of China Pacific Property and Casualty Insurance Company Limited's Hainan Branch, as well as the heads of relevant departments, demonstrated and explained key service projects, including the online direct payment operation for high-level talent physical examinations, the pre-surgery insurance process for surgical accident insurance, the six-step closed-loop process for vehicle insurance personal injury claims (from "incident occurrence - medical treatment - diagnosis and treatment - review - claim settlement - case closure"), and the settlement process for life insurance claims at designated hospitals.
After the press conference, the guests visited our hospital's commercial insurance service window and high-level talent service window on site, gaining a firsthand experience of the operation of the medical insurance collaboration and convenience services.
