He has won the "Silver Snake Award" and the title of "Exemplary Individual" in the 9th Shanghai Health System, been recognized as a "Technological Innovation Pacesetter" among Shanghai medical staff, achieved excellent results in the assessment of doctoral supervisors at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, received the Presidents Award of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, won the Baosteel Education Award in Shanghai, been awarded the title of "Peoples Famous Doctor. Outstanding Achievements" in the 5th edition, been selected as one of the top 2% of world-class scientists for three consecutive years, and was honored as a guest editor of JOA in 2025. He has undertaken two national key research and development projects, five general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and one public welfare industry research fund from the Ministry of Health. He is skilled in robot-assisted artificial joint replacement surgeries (hip, knee, and unicompartmental), and is the first expert in China to perform robotic surgeries (total hip, total knee, and unicompartmental). He excels in small-incision minimally invasive hip and knee joint replacements, as well as hip resurfacing arthroplasty. He is proficient in primary complex hip joint replacements, such as those for ankylosed hips, sequelae of pyogenic hip infections, post-acetabular fracture surgeries, and congenital hip dysplasia (high dislocation). Additionally, he specializes in primary complex knee joint replacements, addressing severe deformities caused by conditions like severe varus and valgus deformities, flexion contracture deformities, ankylosed knees, Charcot joint disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and other diseases, as well as total knee arthroplasty for obese patients with a high BMI. Furthermore, he is adept at revision hip/knee arthroplasty surgeries, tackling issues like periprosthetic fractures and aseptic loosening due to osteolysis, particularly periprosthetic infections.

I. On September 21, 2024, the Joint Surgery Robot Clinical Application Training Center of the National Orthopedic Medicine Center was established. In November 2025, the monograph "Digital Orthopedics - Joint Surgery" was published, and he was one of the main initiators of Chinas first "Guidelines for Clinical Surgical Techniques Assisted by Orthopedic Artificial Intelligence and Robot Systems".
