I. Positioning and Vision
The International Department Ward, leveraging the policy advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port and the robust specialized cancer resources of the hospital, is planned at a high standard and constructed from a high starting point. It is a key international high-end medical service platform that the hospital focuses on developing. The ward strictly adheres to international medical service standards, deeply integrates into the medical opening-up layout of the Free Trade Port, focuses on serving foreigners and domestic high-end special needs groups, and is committed to building a high-level international medical service benchmark for cancer that faces South China, radiates to Southeast Asia, and serves regions along the Belt and Road.
II. Environment and Hardware Facilities
(1) The environment is quiet and elegant
The overall design of the inpatient area emphasizes natural lighting and a sense of space, while strictly adhering to patient privacy protection. It features deluxe suites, standard suites, and single patient rooms, ensuring that each patient has an independent and quiet environment for recovery. The deluxe suites come with their own hanging gardens, allowing patients to enjoy nature without leaving their rooms. This helps alleviate anxiety during hospitalization and enhance psychological comfort.
(2) Supporting smart and convenient features
Each ward is equipped with daily living facilities such as refrigerators, washing machines, and microwaves to meet the living needs during hospitalization. Additionally, voice command control is supported for curtains, air purifiers, and table lamps, allowing patients with limited mobility or those resting at night to easily adjust the indoor environment without getting out of bed, enhancing convenience and safety during hospitalization.
(3) Improved security system
Dietary support: Customize personalized nutritional meals for hospitalized patients, adjusting them according to their dietary habits and medical needs.
Cleaning and infection control: Standardize daily cleaning and disinfection to reduce the risk of cross-infection.
Security management: 24-hour security monitoring and access control to ensure personal and property safety.
Material operation and maintenance: Rapid response to equipment and facility failures, timely replenishment of living supplies, ensuring stable, safe, and high-quality operation in the ward area.
III. Medical service system
(1) Efficient and private diagnosis and treatment process
All types of examinations are personally conducted by senior physicians, with dedicated personnel accompanying and guiding throughout the process. Priority examination channels are opened, balancing efficiency in diagnosis and treatment with privacy during medical visits.
(2) Precise and standardized expert services
The outpatient department implements a strict quota system for diagnosis and treatment, strictly controls the number of patients admitted on a single day, ensures sufficient communication time between doctors and patients, and achieves refined consultation, individualized assessment, and precise diagnosis and treatment.
All inpatients are treated by senior physicians as attending physicians, who strictly follow standardized diagnosis and treatment procedures and precisely control each step.
We regularly carry out MDT multidisciplinary treatment, tailoring scientific, standardized, and personalized comprehensive treatment plans for tumors and complex diseases.
(3) Smooth and convenient cross-border medical services
Build a bridge for international medical cooperation and open up a green channel for cross-border diagnosis and treatment. Establish remote consultation channels with six top international medical institutions, including MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, to provide services such as cross-border remote consultation, treatment of foreign patients, and international referral coordination, building an interconnected, efficient, and convenient international medical chain.
(4) Synchronize the application of new drugs and medical devices with international standards
Rapidly introduce international cutting-edge anti-tumor drugs and imported diagnostic and therapeutic devices, align with international advanced diagnostic and treatment protocols, and enable patients to enjoy high-quality diagnostic and treatment services that are in sync with international standards without leaving the country.
(5) Comprehensive closed-loop medical services
Improve the multilingual communication service system, optimize the entire process of foreign patients admission, diagnosis and treatment, and settlement, and streamline foreign medical procedures. Establish an integrated service model encompassing pre-hospital assessment, in-hospital treatment, and post-hospital follow-up, forming a comprehensive and full-cycle closed-loop medical service. At the same time, we can provide exclusive family doctor services for patients in need, offering daily health monitoring, long-term management of chronic diseases, home health guidance, emergency medical coordination, and other exclusive services, extending high-quality medical services to daily home scenarios and building a solid defense line for health protection at all times.
IV. Specialized Nursing Services
(1) Provide one-on-one dedicated care
The ward has assembled a high-quality professional nursing team, deeply integrating international standards with oncology nursing care. It implements one-on-one dedicated nursing, providing patients (including foreigners) with comprehensive and personalized care from physical to psychological aspects, encompassing one-stop services such as admission guidance, diagnosis and treatment accompaniment, daily care, and health education.
Equipped with a team of oncology nurses specializing in vascular access, wound ostomy, lymphedema, radiotherapy, and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, we have established a specialized nursing outpatient clinic and organize nursing consultations as needed.
(2) Provide full-cycle care services
Establish a long-term discharge follow-up mechanism, regularly monitor patients recovery, and provide timely professional guidance on medication, rehabilitation, and follow-up examinations. Build a closed-loop full-cycle nursing service from "admission diagnosis and treatment - in-hospital care - discharge follow-up - long-term management and care", and create a high-quality nursing service brand that aligns with international standards and features oncology specialty.
